cuban miscellanea

Cuba is hard to come to grips with – everything from the graffiti to buying food makes little sense.

An elaborate piece of bus-stop graffiti reads, "They didn't understand." I am intrigued.

A bomb case by the side of the road on a coastal track near Playa Giron.

Home-made peanut bars - one of the better Cuban food finds.

yeah. perhaps that explains the “cryptic” message?. Pun not intended.

By the way, I recently made the soda can stove I sent you an email about, and it works great. I’m going with a 2 pannier set-up so I wanted to save as much space as possible.

I’m getting my bike and panniers on the 5th of next month and hope to start with a short tour from veracruz to yucatan.

    Hope you are well.
